EZGİ TUNCER, Kadir Has Üniversitesi Mimarlık Bölümü’nde mimari – kentsel tasarım ve kuramı, Mimarlık ve Kent Çalışmaları Yüksek Lisans Programı’nda kent ve mekân teorileri, araştırma metotları dersleri vermekte; kent ve yemek, güncel sanat, iktidar kuramları ve mekân; sakatlık çalışmaları, sınır çalışmaları; politik felsefe alanlarında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir. Space and Culture dergisinde yayınlanan “Border as ‘Zone of Indistinction’: The State of Exception and the Spectacle of Terror Along Turkey’s Border with Syria”, Mimarlık Dergisi’nde yayınlanan “Mimarlığın İstisna Hali Olarak Sakatlık”, Beyond.İstanbul’da yayınlanan “İnci Eviner’de ‘Ulusal Zindelik’: Beden, Mekan ve Mimarlığa Bir Eleştiri” başlıklı güncel makalelerinin yanı sıra Manifold’ta (manifold.press) “Yemek, Kent ve Gündelik Hayat” temalı yazı dizisine devam etmektedir.
EZGİ TUNCER, is an assistant professor at the Department of Architecture, Kadir Has University and research fellow at London School of Economics | LSE GCRF Gender, Justice & Security Hub. She teaches architectural and urban design and theory in the department of architecture, and also spatial and urban theories, research methods in MSc Program in Architectural and Urban Studies at Kadir Has University. She researches in fields of city and food; contemporary art, power and space; disability studies; border studies and political philosophy. In addition to her recent articles such as “Border as ‘Zone of Indistinction’: The State of Exception and the Spectacle of Terror Along Turkey’s Border with Syria” published in Space and Culture, “Disability As an Exception of Architecture” published in Mimarlık Dergisi (Architectural Magazine), “National Fitness in Inci Eviner: A Criticism for Body, Space and Architecture” published in beyond.istanbul she continues to write essay series on ‘Food, City and Everyday Life’ in Manifold (manifold.press).
